Hardware information collection portal for Post Offices

Technology Division of Postal Directorate receives requests from the Circles for replacement /up gradation of computers that were supplied during the earlier plan periods. Hence in order to make an assessment of the requirement of computers in Post Offices it is planned to collect details of Servers, Desktops, UPS systems and Gensets available at the Post Offices to assess their condition.

In order to facilitate this, a data collection web module is hosted at http://cept.gov.in/indiapostinformation. This web page is accessible to the Divisions. Hence the Divisional heads may be directed to furnish the details in the website for all the Post Offices under their jurisdiction. The user credentials for this module is already available with the divisions.  The data collection is confined to the post offices only.
