Post has built a public waiting shed in Cherupoika village in Kollam district in
Kerala State by spending above seventy thousand rupees from Insurance fund. This construction was made as a gift of India
Post for the complete participation of this village in the Rural Postal Life Insurance
(RPLI) campaign.
All the houses in this village have joined in this Rural Postal Life Insurance campaign and at least one member in the family has taken one Policy from India Post.
The
grand success of this camping was the result of effort made by the staffs in
Cherupoika Post Office.

A.N.Nanda, The Chief Postmaster General Kerala Circle has dedicated this public
waiting shed to the villagers of Cherupoika on 19.06.2015.
"This
is the first initiative in this kind in Kerala Circle" M. Mohandas, Senior
Superintendent of Post Offices, Kollam Division said in this function.
