Size
of the signatures in Sanchaya post should be reduced before migration to Core
Banking Solution. Otherwise the size of
the SIGN database will be abnormal and it will make difficulty at the time of
migration. As per the DMCC norms the
size of each signature image should not exceed 25kb. In Sanchaya Post there is
no option to edit the size of already uploaded sign image.
Shri. Rajesh R, System Administrator, Nedumkandam has developed a tool for extracting already scanned signature image from SIGN database. This tool can be downloaded from the following download link. After extracting the entire image, IrfanView or other third party image editing software can be used for reducing the image size through batch conversion. Batch conversion settings should be selected according to the image type and size.
