the offices are facing very much difficulty in despatching COD articles. Most of the COD articles to be returned to
the Senders are kept in the office due to the lack of proper solution from
CEPT. Now the COD articles cannot be
included in the Parcel bag due to software issue.
This case has been reported to CEPT by various field units but no reply has been received so far. Now the official are depending the solution released by some other private blogs. Even though the solution provided by the blog is not a complete solution for the issue, it can be used in urgent situation. Most of the officials are waiting for a solution from CEPT by keeping the COD article as deposit.

Now
also some offices are struggling with the COD articles received in earlier
stage of implementation. They are not
getting proper guidance from departmental authorities. So some online shopping
companies use this space and they are making new operating procedures in India
Post. They are insisting the India Post officials through telephonically to
send the COD amount as VPMO to the sender’s address. But no such orders have been issued by the
Postal Directorate. This type interference from the part of Online Shops in
connection with operating procedure of COD articles is unhealthy. This is a big shame for India Post and it must
be avoided.
